Appropriate textile material
Polyester or mainly polyester containing textile materials. For producing sports wear, swimmimg costumes and flags.
Form: paste in different colours
PH: 7-8
Storage
in a closed pot, between +3 and 20°C for 1 year
Thinning
with water if needed
Usage
Print Subcolor W screenprinting ink on at least 105 gr/m 2 matt transfer paper. In case of a multi colour pattern after the printing of the separate colours the paper should get dry comletely. The drying is possible on a dripping-board and in a heating tunnel as well. The recommended temperature for the heating tunnel is 40-50°C. The drying on higher temperature can lead to the constriction of the paper, and so there will be setting problems by the printing of the following colours.
Recommended mesh
120-34 or finer
In case of too fast drying, it can be made slower by mixing 1-5% Printex LA to Subcolor W. The overdose of the retarder may lead to the damage or slurring of the pattern.
Emulsion
According to our pratical experiences we recommend the Fotecoat 1010 combined (water- and solvent-resistent) emulsion.
Screen wash
With water, in case there remanis some discolouration or adherence on the squeegee-side you can remove them with Universal Screenwash.
Transfer
at min 180°C 3-5 minutes
optimally at 200-210°C 20-40 seconds
You can iron a transferpaper more times, but the colour of the pattern ironed from the same transfer paper will not be the same (they will become lighter and lighter).
Note
Please, make a test print before every series of prints. Make sure that the appropriate actuality values can be achieved with the actual base material and with Your technological conditions.
