Water base uncoloured and covering white print paste
Field of end-use
- Synthetic sufrace-treated materials (car covers, hand-bags, umbrellas, plastic flags)
- Textiles under especially high strain (working clothes, for the printing of jeans-products before stone-washing, etc.)
Chemical structure: Aqueous dispersion of t itanium dioxide, anionic synthetic resins and synthetic thickeners
Appearance: thick, white paste
pH: 7-8
Viscosity: LX : 25.000 mPas / FLX : 35.-40.000 mPas mPas measured with Haake's rotational viscometer
Storage
Protect from heat radiation and freezing in a closed pot.
Application
With the print pastes Printex LX and FLX strong, enduring prints can be produced. The print is elastic, hard and has a glossy surface. The usual pigments can be used for its colouring. In case of producing enduring out-door prints, the light-fastness values of the colouring bodies must be taken into consideration.
Colourability:
- LX 0 - 10% pigment
Guiding receipt for coloured enamel prints:
- 35 - 40% FLX
- 40% LX
- 0 - 25% pigment
Thermosetting
- with contact heat: minimum 130°C 20 seconds
- In a heated chamber: minimum: 110°C 5 minutes
Adding 0.5 - 3% Catalyzer SV the actuality values of the print will be better and the time and temperature of the thermosetting can be reduced.
In case the thermosetting of the basic material is impossible, the print will achieve its final solidity after 72 hours using 3% Catalyzer SV. The pot life of the catalyzed paint is significantly longer (2-3 weeks) than that of the known Printex print pastes. The catalyzed paint does not thicken.

The significant characteristic of the Printex LX - FLX print pastes is their self-dissolution. This also means that the paint dried on the printing block dissolves due to the fresh paint during printing.
Storage
To be stored closed, protected from freezing. Shelf life: 6 months. In case of longer storage, mix extensively.
Note
Please, make a test print before every series of prints. Make sure that the appropriate actuality values can be achieved with the actual base material and with Your technological conditions.
