Storage
Protect from heat radiation and freezing, store in closed pot.
Application
With Printex AEG N screenprinting ink coloured polyesther glitter prints can be produced.
Guide receipt:
Printex AEG N can be coloured by gold and silver metallic pigments according to the following receipt:
Gold printing paste:
- 5 - 20 % golden pigment (powder or paste)
- 80 - 95 % Printex AEG N
Silver printing paste:
- 10 % silver pigment
- 90 % Printex AEG N
- The ready glitter pastes can be coloured with max. 10% pigment, which produces printing pastes with interesting metallic effects.
- Printex AEG can be diluted with water and can be thickened with Printex V, Printex VA .
- If lower viscosity is required, we suggest to use Catalyser D instead of reducing water. Also a small amount of Catalyser D thinnes the ink well, and it has a good effect to the crosslinking of the print.
- By adding Fixierer-FF (1-3%) the curing can be made on lower temperature. In case of gold and silver prints the skipping of the curing process is not recommended even in case of 100% cotton textile. The pot life of the print paste mixed with Fixirer-FF is 1 day.
- To avoid curdling 1-5% Printex LA can be used.
Recommended mesh
Polyester-Monofilament from 28 to 43
Thermosetting of the print
In a heated chamber: on 150°C 3 minutes
with contact heat: on 160-180°C 15-20 seconds
with 0,5% Catalyst SV on 130-150°C 10-15 seconds
Note
Please, make a test print before every series of prints. Make sure that the appropriate actuality values can be achieved with the actual base material and with Your technological conditions.
